iPad Pro announced: 12.9-inch 2732x2048 display, 4 speakers, A9X chip

Apple has announced the new iPad Pro at today's Hey Siri, Give Us A Hint event. This is the largest iOS device yet, sporting a 12.9-inch display with a 2732x2048 resolution - that equates to 5.6 million pixels, which is more than even the 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display. In fact, as Apple points out, the length of the iPad Pro display when in landscape orientation is equal to that of two iPad Airs side-by-side. What that means is that you can run two full-sized standard iPad apps on the iPad Pro simultaneously, side-by-side.
As for ports, the iPad Pro has the standard Lightning connector that we're all used to for charging and syncing. Additionally, it has a new connector called the Smart Connector. This allows you to attach the new Apple Smart Keyboard.
The iPad Air Pro also sports a four speaker array. Two stereo speakers on the top, and two more on the bottom. Depending on the orientation and how you are holding the iPad, it will change the dynamics of the sound to optimize it for that specific scenario. Apple says that the iPad Pro at full volume is three times louder than the iPad Air 2 at full volume. This is been a big complaint with iPad in the past, since it was never great with sound.

New gold and rose gold Apple Watch Sport colors announced

Apple has announced two new colors for the Apple Watch Sport line at today's Hey Siri, Give Us A Hint event. Originally released in silver and space gray 7000 series aluminum, now users have option of picking up the Apple Watch Sport in both gold and rose gold colors. These aren't real gold, of course, although Apple does sell watches made of genuine gold and rose gold. Instead, these are the exact same Apple Watch Sport model, with gold-colored aluminum.
The new gold and rose gold Apple Watch models are shipping starting today. You can pick one up now.

(Product) Red Apple Watch Sport band leaks ahead of Apple Event

Apple is set to take the stage in about 15 minutes for its Hey Siri, Give Us A Hint event. One piece of information did leak, though, and that's proof of a new (Product) Red Sport band for the Apple Watch. As you can see in the image above, if true, Apple will be expanding the colors available in the Sport band line. Up until now, Apple Watch Sport bands have been available in green, pink, blue, black, and white. When you buy a (Product) Red product, a portion of the sales goes to help the fights against AIDS.

Apple has sent invitations to press for it’s “Hey Siri, give us a hint.” event, happening on September 9th at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco. As has become annual tradition, this will be the event where Apple unveils its next set of iPhones, including the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus. There are also rumors of a potential iPhone 6c, as well as a long-awaited new Apple TV. It won’t be long now, iPhone fans—Apple takes the stage in just 13 days. In the meantime, feel free to keep bugging Siri and see if she gives you an early scoop.

Best Buy in-store events offering first-hand look at 4K Ultra HD

Television manufacturers like Samsung, LG, Sony, and Vizio are betting big on 2015 being a breakout year for Ultra HD 4K televisions. If you’re unfamiliar, 4K TVs deliver video content at 2160p. That’s 3840×2160 pixels, which means it’s hitting you with 4x the resolution of the 1080p (1920x1080 pixels) set you’re likely already used to. Streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, and YouTube are already pumping out 4K content, with more to come. Tesla introduces Model S 70D as its new entry level vehicle

Tesla has removed the underperforming (sales-wise) Model S 60 entry level vehicle from its lineup, and has replaced it with a new, more powerful base model that it’s called the Model S 70D. The new Tesla Model S 70D bring with it a dual-motor all wheel drive feature that packs a 329 horsepower punch, as compared to 302hp offered by the departing Model S 60. The allows the Model S 70D to go from 0-to-60 MPH in 5.2 seconds with a top speed of 140 MPH. Access to the Tesla Supercharger network is now included, a perk that Model S 60 customer had to pay extra for. Same goes for a bunch of the features that were previously included in the technology package.
Tesla begins shipping the Model S 70D shortly, and you can order one at a base price of $75,000, or lease one starting at $818 per month.

During this morning's Apple Spring Forward event, the company finally filled in the blanks on how much all three versions of the Apple Watch will cost. If you are wanting anything other than the Apple Watch Sport model (which Apple previously announced as starting at $349,) then you might need to start saving up now in advance of the Apple Watch release date. Apple is holding its Spring Forward event, focused on Apple Watch, this morning. The company just announced that the Apple Watch will be released on April 24 in the US and select countries, answering the question of when everyone will be able to get their hands on the hot new wearable coming out of Cupertino. The Apple Watch will be available in Apple Stores nationwide, but if you'd rather have it sent to you, you'll be able to pre-order one starting on April 10th, starting at $349 for the Apple Watch Sport. Apple announces new MacBook with 12-inch Retina display

Apple just announced a brand new MacBook, which features an all new 12-inch Retina display, at this morning's Spring Forward event. While the Retina display is impressive with a 2304 x 1440 resolution, there's much more to the MacBook that warrants discussion. The smallest Apple notebook was previously the 11-inch MacBook Air, and the new MacBook has stolen that crown, even while having a larger display. It's 24% thinner than the MacBook Air, and it the first Apple notebook that has an all metal enclosure. The keyboard is full-sized, but redesigned with a new butterfly mechanism that makes typing more precise. The new Force Touch trackpad supports a new gesture, called Force Click. This is similar to what Apple announced for the Apple Watch - the trackpad is pressure senitive and can tell the difference between a light tap and a strong tap, and can do different things based on the force of the tap input.
One way Apple was able to get the new MacBook so small and thin is by eliminating all of the ports, foregoing everything you're used to in exchange for USB Type-C. This port is able to drive USB accessories, video for external monitors, power for charging, and more. Apple has also removed all fans from the inside, making it quiet, and even thinner than it would be otherwise. It's the first fanless laptop from Apple.
As far as specs go, the new MacBook starts with a 1.1GHz Intel Core M processor, Intel HD 5300 graphics, 8GB RAM, and a 256GB SSD for $1299. If you want something faster, you can go with a 1.2GHz processor with a 512GB SSD for $1599. The new Apple MacBook will be available in one month, on April 10th.
